of the vestments owned by and used in

It is very important that care is taken while repairing items, for example, modern synthetic threads should not be used on natural materials. Our knowledge of the construction of items such as offertory bags is crucial as repairs can be more sucessfully completed if they are sympathetically executed with regard for the original item.
